A LITTLE ABOUT

PAUL KENNEDY

Paul Kennedy is the founder and owner of Electre. Paul first ignited his passion for stringing in 1973 when he was factory manager for Vicort of London. With over 40 years under his belt, he has experienced everything from stringing wooden rackets by hand up to today’s  graphite rackets strung using electronic machines. Since his time at Vicort in the 70’s he has worked for Ransome Sporting Goods where he was responsible for Babolat and Gosen strings and Talbot badminton rackets.

Paul’s expertise is second to none, he has developed a unique method to restring all kinds of badminton rackets which keeps the frame shape perfect.  His credentials include having strung at Wimbledon, World Squash Championships, International Badminton tournaments and the British Open Squash Championships where he was responsible for Jahangir Khan’s racket restrings.
